Legend of the Nine Suns

This is an illustration that is based on Saul Bass's aesthetics. It is about the legend of the nine suns that happened in China. This is about a legend of a Chinese general named Yue Fei. Back then, there were ten suns, and the emperor of China was looking for someone who is good at archery to shoot down the nine suns, in order for the people to keep living in the earth. The reward for this would be an IMMORTALITY DRUG. Yue Fei, who is really good at archery, shoots down the nine suns and is granted the immortality drug. This is executed with a modern/ naive aesthetics, and mostly inspired by Saul Bass’s cut out illustrations.
